The people, the hustle and bustle, the traffic, the industrial and hardworking mindset of the people will make you think they have absolutely no time to relax, but they do and the do it so well. Just like everything else
There are so many relaxation spots in Lagos and if we decide to write about all of them, it would take forever. However, our favorite is the beach. The beaches in Lagos state are amazing and this article will show you the best of them.

So Elegushi beach is one of the most popular beaches in Lagos state. If you haven’t been there, you must have heard the name from some these songs by famous musicians. Some of the amazing features of this beach include horse riding exercises, partying, food, the amazing view of the water, and the shacks situated there for partying and sales for drinks.

Halemson Beach Lagos
If you ask me, some of the best things in life are kept hidden and reserved for a selected few. Halemson beach lagos has this above description as getting here will require you take a thirty minute ship cruise and a 10 minute ship cruise from the satellite town coastal. To go by land, you’ll go from Mile 2 to satellite town, and then Badagry express way. Unlike others, this beach offers pick-up services and specific points.
The halemson beach resort is a very quiet place deliberately built for the guests; whether individual or group, to have a serenity and proximity to nature that the Lagos hustle lifestyle cannot provide.
It is equipped with indoor games like board games and outdoor recreational exercises like fishing, sailing, cycling, basket balling, climbing, volleyball, darts and even a golf bunker. Here you’ll also get fitness training lessons and exercises, massages and many more.
On this resort, the accommodation is amazing, the bar and restaurant are simply exotic in the most natural way. They’re built from on site materials and they give a natural feel to the place. These small huts built are equally used for parties, meetings and clubbing at night.
Coconut Beach Nigeria
Coconut beach is another beautiful beach along the badagry waterside. It is named after the coconut trees on the beach.
If you love to watch the waves race, sit beneath the coconut trees for the cool sea breeze, and listen to some good music while at it, this beach is the right place for you to visit. Here’s a little secret, this place comes alive during the holidays, in Yuletide and on the weekends.

The Takwa bay beach is one amazing beach that thankfully is not located at badagry. This beach is located at Lekki Epe express way. However, you’ll need to get here by a ship from Victoria island. Even the trip to this beach gives you amazing views like the Raddison Blue, the Lagos yatch club and the Lagos Harbour.
The area around the beach is a residential area so residents sell lots of items here. You can buy anything ranging from snacks to suya to grilled fish or even inform the fisherman on his way from sea that you want an actual fresh fish for your barbecue.
There is also a very beautiful view of ships, small and big passing by, and some old ships which serve as a good photo backdrop. You can also ski, surf, swim and finally round up your trip with a tour of Lagos, on your trip to the island.

Located along Abraham Adesanya Road,Ajah, is the Atican beach.
No doubt the beaches mentioned are awesome and this one is not an exception. This is one of the most properly managed beaches in Lagos state. It is beautiful, with it’s clean white sand, and cool breeze.
